Nursery Administrator

Part time role – Flexible hours

25 hours per week worked over 5 days, 52 weeks per year

St Francis School is seeking to appoint a Nursery Administrator in our Little Saints Nursery. We are looking for an applicant to take responsibility for the general, financial and admissions administration of the Nursery, working closely with the Nursery Manager and with the support of the School’s Bursary and Admissions Teams.

The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, high levels of attention to detail and an administrative or financial background. Training will be provided for all relevant school systems.

We will offer the successful candidate an annual salary of £17,913.33 as part of an attractive remuneration package which includes a workplace pension, contractual sick pay, 33 days paid annual leave (including bank holidays) and lunch when on duty. The site provides for ample free parking and we offer an attractive staff remission on Nursery and School fees. We also provide further training and opportunities.

 YEAR 5 CLASS TEACHER

Required September 2022

Full-time or Part-time.

We are looking for an inspirational, proactive teacher to take responsibility for one of our Year 5 classes for the next academic year. The post-holder will have the opportunity to plan collaboratively with their parallel Year 5 teacher and will be required to teach a range of primary subjects across the curriculum.

 The role requires a strong ability to work as part of a team and to participate fully in all aspects of school life. We welcome applications from qualified teachers with state, independent or international school experience including ECTs. 

 Salary is based on the St Francis School pay scale and is dependent on qualifications and experience. There are a number of additional benefits for teaching staff such as enhanced holiday, free meals and discounted school fees which can be discussed at interview.

Teaching Assistant for Years 4 and 5
Required from September 2022

We have an opening for an experienced teaching assistant to work with Years 4 and 5 in the Prep School. This role will be focussed primarily upon supporting the pupils and the teaching and learning during English and mathematics lessons. Initially, this term time only role is a fixed term (one year role). The hours are from 8.30 am until 12.45 pm Monday to Friday.

Room Leader – Little Saints Nursery

Required ASAP

 Little Saints Nursery is a successful and established Nursery nestled within the grounds of  St Francis School, a successful friendly, family school. We care for babies and children from 6 weeks old in our purpose built development with access to 19 acres of outside space including our woodland areas.

 We are currently recruiting a Room Leader to join our caring, passionate and professional team.

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner who is enthusiastic, helpful and well organised with knowledge of working in a similar setting and a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Childcare.

Gap Assistant

Required from September 2022

40 hours a week, Term Time only (with opportunity to work during some holidays)

We are seeking to appoint a committed individual to join our School as a Gap Assistant from September 2022..

The role of the Gap Assistant is a varied and busy one; you will be valued member of our staff team and will contribute widely across many areas of school life. We want your time with us to be fulfilling and stimulating, and we expect you will throw yourself into what the school offers its staff and pupils. Above all, we want you to have fun and develop as an individual in our happy, friendly and successful school.

Our preferred candidate will be enthusiastic and energetic and probably a recent school leaver who delivers to a high standard. You are likely to have developed quality skills and attributes in sport, music and/or drama. You will be willing to work hard, and be motivated to be part of our committed and talented team.

You will be joining a friendly, motivated and committed group of people, all of whom contribute to the success of our 0-13 day co-educational school and Nursery.

Minibus Driver – After School

Required ASAP

Part time role – 5 hours per week, term time only (34 weeks a year)

St Francis School is seeking to appoint a Minibus Driver. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our friendly Estates Team. We are looking for a reliable, well presented, friendly and courteous individual with excellent time keeping skills to drive a set route after school each day returning pupils to nominated drop off points. You must hold a clean driving licence with category D1. Further training will be provided. Additional hours may also be available on our morning routes.
